With over 15 years of business, Care.com is dedicated to connecting customers with the best care providers in their network. The re-brand allowed Care.com to reintroduce itself as a warm, bright, and trustworthy company ready to grow with its customers’ needs. The new logo is a marriage between classic and modern, setting the tone for the heritage brand it will soon become. The illustration style I established is smart, approachable, and seamlessly pairs with the brand’s visual elements. I collaborated with Care.com’s team to art direct our contracted Illustrator, and together, we created a flexible library of images. The crossover of care needs inspired the overlapping shapes and patterns. Their vibrance and texture express the richness and warmth of day-to-day life. Care.com’s new identity boasts the joys, messes, challenges, and everything that comes with caring for our families and beyond.
